Windows Blinds -vs- Desktop X

Hey everyone,
I just bought the OBJECT DESKTOP pack today ($50) after a quick run through the demo - loved it!

Just wondering, how compatable is it, if I run a windowsblinds theme - and a desktopx custom desktop?
do they just cancel each other out?
or are they not meant to mix?

or what?

Just need to understand how it all works together.

Use them both together! The two programs do different things and compliment each other.

Mix 'n' match till you get a desktop you like. It's all about having fun and I'm sure you'll have a great time here

have you got any ideas where i can get a nice clean, very plain, but cool style?

I checked deviantart but there are so many!

are there places to get more widgets too?
i havnt really had a chance to look.
And if so - are there any "dodgy" places that have virus's or infected widgets trying to trick people like me?

If ever in doubt, virus scan any and all .exe files you may download - even widgets!
